Outside the office Dr. Avis’ primary love is spending time with his family. In addition, the doctor enjoys exercise and sports, and is a three time Staten Island Amateur Golf champion. Dr. Avis is committed to service and presently serves on the boards of the JCC, Staten Island Academy, and the Wagner College Chai Society. Finally an avid reader of personal development and management books, Dr. Avis enjoys a long time active membership with BNI (Business Networking International).
